NOMINATING CHAIR
As a Clinical Specialist for the Center for Clinical and Professional Development at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, I am committed to empower nurses caring for oncology patients by sharing knowledge and developing connections across our hospitals, clinics and industry.
I hope to serve as an ambassador for ONS membership and Oncology Certification throughout our community, both within and beyond Boston. I also hope to engage newer oncology nurses in the Boston chapter of ONS.

TREASURER
As the Director of Research Nursing at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, I am passionate about the growth and development of the clinical research programs in the community settings. Through leadership, implementation and evaluation of clinical oncology research, it's important to me to break down barriers of trial enrollment to allow for greater access to clinical trials for the community population.
As the ONS treasurer, I am committed to overseeing the management and reporting on the organization's financial administration and enforcing financial policies and procedures. I am excited to be part of the board to support the organization's goals and help drive decision-making for success in its mission.
Onyinye Mkparu,

DIRECTOR AT LARGE
As the Nursing Director of the Hematology Oncology unit at Brigham & Women's Hospital and over fourteen years of oncology nursing experience in a wide variety of settings, I have a genuine passion for oncology nursing and share ONS's mission to promote excellence in oncology nursing care, education, research and practice.
I am thrilled to have been elected as the Director at Large and I look forward to collaborating with the fellow Board members and membership as a whole to further support other fellow nurses' professional growth.
Jean Treacy,
MBA, MSN, ANP-BC
DIRECTOR AT LARGE
I have served oncology patients and their families for my entire 30-year nursing career. From bedside nursing, to the care I provided as a Nurse Practitioner at MGH, and now as an Account Executive for Abbvie Oncology, I strive to keep the patient as my North Star. It is my hope that my diverse nursing background, recent MBA attainment, and leadership skills will help to shape the Oncology nurses of the future.
As the Director at Large of BONS I will work closely with the other Board members to ensure that both the regional and national ONS goals are met while keeping the focus on the patients we serve.
