"The Boston Oncology Nursing Society scholarship allows me to continue my education in pursuit of my doctorate degree. This scholarship is particularly meaningful to me because I am deeply passionate about caring for the oncology population. My ultimate goal following completion of my DNP is to balance clinical work, leadership and scholarship by working as an oncology nurse practitioner and a professor. This will allow me to both help oncology patients, as well as prepare and mentor the future of our profession. I am a firm believer of pushing oneself to the fullest potential, which a terminal nursing degree will allow me to do." ~ Brittany Hill, NP-BC, MSN, OCN

I am grateful for receiving the education scholarship from Boston ONS this year. This scholarship will allow me to pursue my graduate study in nursing education and become a certified nurse educator. I am now one step closer to my goal of becoming a nurse faculty and inspiring nursing students to advocate for cancer care equity to diverse patient populations. ~ Phuong Vo, MSN, RN, OCN
