In the most recent ONS Advocacy email, information from a study presented ASCO detailed unexpected effects of GLP-1s on reducing metastatic progression of certain cancers has created quite a stir. There are many things to be considered, while the study notes no significant safety concerns, expense and access still remain at the helm creating disparities. The steps to take to help patients receive these therapies have workplace impact.
